Hydrangea paniculata “Limelight” looking particularly un-limey this morning in the beautiful frost. What a gorgeous and very cold morning. Time to wrap some plants up and put them to bed for the winter!
Cactus heaven! What do you think of this beautiful Opuntia? Cacti are really having their moment and I personally love them. The prickly pear fruit that this plant produces is, as the name suggests, not easy to grab hold of but when using the right equipment these fruits definitely have their use. @sonbrull where this gorgeous specimen grows they use all parts of the fruit at different points in the year. They feature in their skincare products used in their heavenly spa and they also make a delicious juice out of their flesh. I’m going to try mine next year juiced up with some fresh turmeric for a sweet and spicy, super healthy drink. Have you ever tried prickly pear? Let me know what you thought. #horticulture

When you just can’t believe it’s going to be 25 degrees in Nov so tu wear jeans and end up sweating your ass off! 🤣 #feelinghothothot #mallorcalife
Olive harvesting time here in Mallorca and the weather is perfect for being out in the fields all day. No home-made olive oil for us this year but thought I’d bring these tiny beauties from the garden into the house as I love to have foliage everywhere and I forgot to buy flowers from the market this week!
Sunday supper with the gang. #diningalfresco #mallorcalife
